  • Lead the business operations of the tax service line.
  • Ensure quality tax engagements for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Deliver strategic tax planning and consulting.
  • Resolve complex tax issues.
  • Build lasting client relationships.

  • Contribute to the success of the firm through business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus Enrolled Agent (EA) at minimum, CPA and additional certification(s) preferred.
  • 10 years or more experience.
  • Expert level knowledge of taxation.
  • Able to evaluate and propose improvements to the policies, procedures, and processes of the tax service line.
  • Monitoring and maintaining high quality of product delivered to client through detailed review of high-risk engagements and peer review, as needed.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies to advise clients in these matters.
  • People development and leadership.
  • Account management of select client groups.
  • Workflow management of projects within Service Line to meet client care, quality product and profitability metrics.
  • Thorough understanding of the business aspects of a public accounting firm.
  • The ability to negotiate additional services with current clients to demonstrate the ability to cross-sell services.

Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000

  • Detailed assurance technical review of report w/full disclosures.
  • Lead engagements including resolution of complex accounting matters.
  • Detailed review of compilations, review and audit engagements.
  • Build lasting client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop assurance team members.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license, required. CCIFP, preferred.
  • 8+ years in public accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and SSARS.
  • Adheres to the policies, procedures, and processes of the Firm and holds direct reports responsible for doing the same.
  • Able to review and consult on complex transactions.
  • Able to teach/coach team members.
  • Cultivates role as primary contact for client.
  • Excellent supervisory and delegation skills demonstrated through direct reports meeting performance metrics.
  • Project management by coordinating internal and external resources to meet client care expectations.
  • Effectively oversees multiple engagements concurrently.
  • Has a basic understanding of the business aspects of a public accounting firm.

What We Offer: Salary $60,000 – $65,000
