Lisa Dyer might not have ever found her career in accounting had it not been for her high school accounting teacher who encouraged her to pursue it in college. She took her teacher’s insight to heart and earned her B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

Lisa began her professional career working in private industry for a large telephone directory company in Amarillo, Texas before moving to Central Texas in 1998 where she continued working in private industry for a local franchisee. During her private industry experience, Lisa worked directly with the public accounting firms providing audit and tax service to her employers, which sparked an interest to explore a career change. In 1999, she began her public accounting career with a well-established regional accounting firm. While gaining experience in all service areas, Lisa realized her passion was in tax planning and compliance. She loves working with both individual and business clients to help navigate the unique financial opportunities and challenges they face. Today, Lisa’s diverse accounting experience gives her a unique perspective when working with clients, whether it be determining which entity structure is best for their business or working through the tax implications of a complex business transaction. Having worked alongside Carrie Bradshaw during her entire public accounting career, Lisa knew she wanted to be part of CD Bradshaw & Associates when Carrie established the firm in 2017. Lisa values CDBA’s emphasis on family, faith, and community and its commitment to being the best.

Lisa and her husband, Rob, stay busy with their three daughters. They enjoy listening to live music, embarking on new home improvement projects, and hiking outside with family.
