A University of Texas graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Jim Albers knew even before college that his aptitude for math had him poised for a career in accounting.

Jim began his professional career in Canyon, Texas working for Brown, Graham & Company P.C. In 1989, he moved to Georgetown to open an office for that firm. He transitioned to CD Bradshaw & Associates as part of their spin off in January, 2017 bringing his 40 years of tax and public accounting experience. Jim’s diverse public accounting background gives him a unique perspective on how to tailor best practices for individual industries and clients. His experience and expertise greatly enriches the lives of the clients he works with as well as the accountants he has mentored along the way. What he loves most about his work is helping clients feel assured that they’ve done the “right thing” when making financial decisions.

Together, Jim and his wife, Deborah, have three grown children. In his spare time, Jim enjoys gardening, small agricultural products, and trying new restaurants. Jim is a life-long Rotarian and very involved in the Georgetown and Walburg communities.
